ZLAC CLUBHOUSE RENTALS
Located on Sail Bay on the north shore of Mission Bay in beautiful San Diego, ZLAC Rowing Club offers a unique setting for your next event. A traditional Craftsman style designed by Lilian Rice and built in 1932 with a unique redwood interior, historic rowing décor, and scenic view of Mission Bay, the clubhouse is the ideal setting for:
- Weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners
- Reunions, birthday parties and celebrations

How much does it cost to rent the clubhouse?
The rental rates vary depending on the day of the week and the number of hours of the rental. Please view our Rental Fee Schedule for our Non-Member Contract:

Can I have a wedding on the beach?

Can we serve alcohol at the club?
Yes, you may. No selling of drinks. All drinks must be served by a licensed and insured Caterer. Only beer, wine, champagne and non-alcoholic drinks may be served. NO KEGS.

Can I bring my own food?
No, we require you to use a professional caterer chosen from the club’s approved caterer’s list. Under some circumstances it may be possible to get approval for another caterer; ask the resident manager for details.

How many people can be accommodated at the clubhouse?
We can seat 135 people comfortably. If you have a larger crowd you will need to rent more tables and chairs. If you use the Boat Apron, you will need to have some type of barrier to prevent the public from joining your party. The maximum capacity for the clubhouse is 250 guests.

Do you have parking available?
Yes, there are 24 parking spaces available in our parking lot. Since the club is an active rowing club there is a possibility that only 14 spaces will be available for your event, depending on the rowing/regatta schedule for that day.

Does the club provide linens, silverware, plates or serving dishes?
No, all of these items must be provided by the renter or the catering service.
